As part of its commitment to intercultural dialogue and international cooperation, the Université Euromed de Fès had the honor of hosting Her Excellency Ms. Helena Nolan, the Ambassador of Ireland to Morocco, accompanied by an official delegation from the Embassy.

On this occasion, a roundtable entitled "Women’s Career Pathways: What Shapes Women’s Professional Lives" was organized, bringing together speakers from diverse professional backgrounds: Melanie Lynch, Founder, CEO & Creative Director of HerStory and Our Story; Dr. Antonia Hart, a historian of female entrepreneurship; Dr. Salome Mbugua, CEO of AkiDwA and Commissioner at the Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission; Prof. Chaimae Bouchala, Professor of English at UEMF; and Prof. Mounia Slighoua, Assistant Professor of Political Science at UEMF. Through their analyses and testimonies, the participants explored the multiple realities that shape women's professional paths today, encompassing leadership, career progression, structural challenges, and transformations in the world of work.

This meeting provided an open forum for exchange for the UEMF academic community, fostering collective reflection on the role of institutions, public policies, and community initiatives in creating environments conducive to the flourishing of female talent. The discussions also highlighted the importance of sharing experiences and perspectives to support new generations in building ambitious and inclusive professional trajectories.

Far more than just a conference, this event aligns with the vocation of the Université Euromed de Fès to encourage the sharing of knowledge and to promote an academic culture that is open to the world.
