Conferences and Symposia

As part of the activities organized by the Euromed Institute of Legal and Political Sciences of UEMF, a conference was held at the Eco-campus on Tuesday, February 27, 2024.

This roundtable, held on the theme: "The Royal Armed Forces in Peacekeeping Operations Around the World," was led by Lieutenant Colonel Mohcine Nadi, a senior officer of the Royal Armed Forces and a lecturer at the Royal College of Higher Military Education (CREMS) and the Royal Gendarmerie School (EGR). He is an expert in security system reform and has managed calls for peacekeeping operations across several theaters.

Lieutenant Colonel Nadi stated that security challenges have been a top priority for Morocco since its independence. This is why our country has been permanently and resolutely committed to the United Nations in favor of peace and stability in the world, through the participation of the Royal Armed Forces in several peacekeeping operations. A participation that has made the kingdom a genuine partner for peace, a partnership that is not new.

Following his presentation, a rich debate with the audience developed around the role of the Royal Armed Forces in peacekeeping operations worldwide and the strengthening of the Royal Armed Forces' capabilities in terms of interoperability and support for peace operations around the world.
