"Smart Grid and Sustainable Energy System": Seminar led by Professor Mohamed BARARA

As part of its lecture series, the Université Euromed de Fès is organizing a seminar on the theme "Smart Grid and Sustainable Energy System". This event, presented in English by Prof. Mohamed BARARA, will take place at the university's Eco-campus on Wednesday, November 22.

Prof. BARARA, a renowned expert in the fields of Smart Grids, renewable energy systems, and microgrids, shared his in-depth knowledge during this unique conference. Given the energy transition the world is currently undergoing, the speaker explained how Smart Grids represent the future of our energy infrastructure, offering innovative solutions to meet the challenges of this transition.

Smart Grids aim to ensure the reliability and stability of electrical systems, balance energy supply and demand, and enable the diversified integration of multi-source systems. The main challenges involve increasing the penetration of renewable energies into energy network infrastructures to fully integrate them and achieve sustainable energy systems.

This seminar was dedicated to recent developments at the frontiers of the smart grid community, ranging from academic fields to their industrial applications.
