Miscellaneous notices

The Université Euromed de Fès participated in the kick-off meetings for the MLUMSE project (Modernization of Land and Urban Management Education in the Southern Mediterranean), held in Cairo from February 10 to 12, 2025. It was represented by Prof. Wafae Belarbi, Director of the Euromed School of Architecture, Design and Urban Planning (EMADU). This project involves universities from several countries on both shores of the Mediterranean, including the Université Euromed de Fès.

The university is a scientific hub organized around three major Academic Divisions: "Architecture and Engineering", "Humanities and Social Sciences", and "Health". It stands out for its commitment to digital technologies and artificial intelligence, through its EIDIA school. The digital Academic Division is rapidly emerging at UEMF, with the ambition of becoming a center of innovation at the regional and national level.

Several university teams are working on the themes of territories and resilience, using a multidisciplinary approach, including smart cities, territorial identity, landscape planning, and urban resilience in the digital age. In line with this momentum, UEMF seeks to continuously modernize and innovate its study programs by strengthening its human and technological capacities, as well as its international cooperation.

These initiatives also underscore the university's ambition to become a center of excellence in urban management, sustainable development, and digital technologies, in partnership with renowned institutions, thereby contributing to the building of smart and resilient cities.
