Since last September, the Université Euromed de Fès has been hosting the Sorbonne Law School with a degree program delocalized to Morocco, specifically a Master's in Business Law offered to students from Morocco, France, and Sub-Saharan Africa in a proportion of one-third each. This highly selective Master's program has been a great success in the three aforementioned regions.
In this context, the university is organizing, today May 11th and tomorrow May 12th, two days dedicated to the study of techniques for restructuring the liabilities of companies in difficulty. Nearly 200 specialists, mostly from France, are participating in this high-level training, which will allow around one hundred lawyers and insolvency practitioners to exchange with their Moroccan counterparts and refine legal techniques and methods for better corporate restructuring.
The success of these training days organized in Morocco is explained by the current difficult economic context, which exposes many companies to financial difficulties and forces them to restructure to make their liabilities more manageable.
This training is unprecedented in Morocco and focuses particularly on the new complex mechanisms inspired by American law, which have now become widespread in a globalized economic environment.
