Euromed University of Fes obtains the Responsible Innovation Label during its first edition 2020/2021

The Responsible Innovation Label was awarded to UEMF during its first edition 2020/2021 for the project "UEMF Sustainable Program".

UEMF CERTIFICATE FOR THE RESPONSIBLE INNOVATION LABEL

The Responsible Innovation Label is intended for private or public higher education and research institutions that are members of the AUF worldwide. Its objective is twofold: to map and promote the responsible innovations of francophone universities around the world, but also to deploy the responsible innovation network to foster synergies between universities, civil society and the socio-economic sector working for the development of a responsible society.

The Label's Ambitions:

The label addresses several challenges:

• Identify responsible innovations generated by francophone universities to promote and develop them;
• Strengthen the capacities and skills in SDGs/SES of the Francophonie network;
• Organize support for francophone universities wishing to innovate responsibly;
• Train and support researchers, staff, students and teachers from francophone universities in responsible innovation and its social and environmental impact;
• Generate new partnerships and new resources around responsible innovation within the network of francophone universities;
• Participate in and develop the emerging SDG/SES dynamic in the academic world.

The Label's Benefits for Higher Education and Research Institutions:

• Be an active institution;
• Attract more students, teachers and researchers;
• Mobilize new funders;
• Gain local and international visibility around the SDGs and SES;
• Build a strong brand image with meaning: a "responsible" and "committed to sustainable development" university;

Enhancing Skills:

• Develop the university: training and partnerships;
