Today, June 23, the Euromed University of Fes hosted the final phase of the second edition of the RAM Digital Open Innovation, aimed at selecting the best solutions and projects led by the finalist startups.
As part of an initiative to support project leaders, startup creation, and spinouts in innovative fields, the Euromed University of Fes hosted the second edition of the RAM DIGITAL OPEN INNOVATION program, organized in partnership with Royal Air Maroc. From June 18 to 23, 2023, the event took place at the UEMF Eco-Campus. Throughout the week, the Bootcamp was dedicated to product development processes, improving value propositions, and designing the first version of the projects. Following these workshops, a Demo Day was scheduled this Friday to announce the winning solution(s).
The Demo Day was attended by eminent personalities, including Mr. Addou Abdelhamid, Chairman and CEO of RAM; Mr. Kharlamov Alexei, Director of the RAM Transformation Academic Division; Mrs. Kazzini Ilham, Director of the RAM Commercial Academic Division; Mr. Benchekroun Karim, Chief Financial Officer of RAM; Mr. Jalali Adil, Director of the RAM Operations Academic Division; Prof. Bousmina Mostapha, President of the Euromed University of Fes; and Mr. Sami Romdhane, Country Manager of Visa Morocco.
This program aims to shape a new generation of innovative products and services to address the challenges of the national airline. In this regard, the Euromed University of Fes welcomed 10 teams of young entrepreneurs from around the world, each with different challenges. These startups had one week at our Eco-Campus to prepare for the final pitch, with the goal of potentially seeing their solution deployed.
This initiative supports the strategy of the Euromed University of Fes and its efforts to support young people in their entrepreneurial endeavors and to enhance human capital in society through training, support, skills development, and funding of innovative projects. Thus, UEMF is revolutionizing the image of the traditional university by actively working within its ecosystem, notably through its multiple partnerships and collaboration agreements with various socio-economic actors at the national and international levels.
