The Euromed University of Fes had the honor of hosting, last Wednesday, the first day of the NEGIA Summit (Next Generation Impact Architects), an event organized by the Federation of Francophone Architects of Africa (FAFA), around the theme "Architecture for the Next Generation".

This inaugural day, held at the University's Conference Center, brought together young architects, urban planners, and experts from across the African continent to collectively reflect on the challenges and prospects of African architecture in the face of contemporary technological, environmental, and societal issues.

The discussions focused on several major themes, including the impact of new technologies in architectural design, the presentation of the texts and statutes of G40 (the FAFA's Group of Architects Under 40), and the role of younger generations in the sustainable transformation of African cities.

For the students of the Euromed School of Architecture, Design and Urban Planning (EMADU), this meeting represented an enriching learning experience, offering them the opportunity to interact directly with young architects, international experts, and representatives of African professional bodies. It allowed them to broaden their perspective on the realities of the profession, while highlighting the central place of creativity, technology, and sustainability in contemporary architecture.

This first day of the NEGIA Summit was marked by a spirit of inspiration, collaboration, and intergenerational exchange, true to the values of openness and excellence championed by the Euromed University of Fes.
