Euromed Polytechnic School has completed the installation work for its new practical activities and research space, "the Civil Engineering Hall".
Euromed Polytechnic School has opened a new practical activities and research space, the Civil Engineering Hall, between buildings B3 and B4, spanning nearly 850 m2 and featuring a full range of "cutting-edge" equipment related to the different main facets of civil engineering, in addition to a dedicated area for presenting experimental work results:
- Hydraulics and fluid mechanics;
- Geotechnics and soil mechanics;
- Strength of materials;
- Concrete and cementitious materials;
- Traffic ways, roads, and pavements.
The civil engineering program at Euromed Polytechnic School enables students to acquire the knowledge necessary for developing large-scale projects, as well as for their management and execution.
In this sense, practical work and mini-construction projects are essential and constitute a core activity in the curriculum of every future civil engineer, whether they pursue an entrepreneurial path or a research path during their professional career.
