Idea Development with Design Thinking: theme of the MUnIE workshop

The Euromed School of BioMedTech Engineering (EIB) and the Euromed Institute of Technology (EIT) are organizing an online workshop on design thinking on January 12, 13, 14 and January 19 and 20, 2021 with their German partner, the University of Koblenz-Landau, under the theme "Idea Development with Design Thinking", accessible via this link.

Indeed, the culture of project-based learning, continuous innovation, and action-research is one of the major pillars of the Université Euromed de Fès, which aims to train future leaders endowed with a critical and constructive mindset. Within this framework, it becomes necessary to develop a co-creative mode of thinking, which involves implementing a comprehensive collaborative design approach that draws on diverse techniques and methods such as design thinking, brainstorming, brainwriting, and speedstorming.

These methods and tools will be presented during the workshop to participants, who will work in teams on various projects using these highly instructive techniques. These, later complemented by physical business modeling spaces, will de facto stimulate innovation through ideation, pretotyping, and prototyping using ad hoc processes.

Ultimately, the collaboration with the University of Koblenz-Landau will broadly allow UEMF to experiment with new modes and methods of operation.
