International pharmaco-toxicology expert, Dr. Mohammed Bourdi, guest of Euromed University of Fes

Organized by the Euromed University of Fes (UEMF) and its component, the School of Biomedical Engineering (EIB), a conference on the theme "Preclinical in-vivo and in-vitro studies in drug development" was led by Dr. Mohammed BOURDI today, February 21, at the Eco-campus.

Dr. Mohammed BOURDI is a distinguished expert in pharmacotoxicology and a teacher of toxicology at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Maryland/FAES and at Mount St. Mary’s University in Maryland.

Students and faculty benefited from his deep knowledge in the field of preclinical in vivo and in vitro studies in drug development, thus gaining a valuable perspective on the crucial aspects of drug research before its introduction to the market.

This meeting was an opportunity to exchange ideas, discuss current advances in the field, and strengthen ties between academic institutions and renowned practitioners. The event enriched the educational framework by providing participants with an in-depth look into the drug development process, thereby enhancing their understanding of the challenges related to pharmaceutical research.
