Meeting at Euromed University of Fes: "The Role of Culture in Sustainable Development and the Emergence of a New Humanism"

As part of the EUROMED-ICESCO Chair "Arts, Societies and Civilizations," the Euromed University of Fes hosted, on May 5, 2023, a major meeting on themes covering crucial issues: the role of culture in sustainable development and the emergence of a new humanism, cultural practices, youth and the challenges of the digital age, the relationship between humans and embedded and automated systems, the inherent indeterminacy in the design of robotic objects with its risks and opportunities, and the unthought in the construction of links between identity and otherness. ..

At the UEMF Art Gallery, the audience, composed of teacher-researchers, doctoral students, and students from various fields in the humanities and social sciences, responded brilliantly to the presentations given by eminent personalities from the academic and scientific world, namely Ms. YAMOU FALL, Minister-Counselor to the President of Senegal, Mr. MOHAMED ZINELAB, and Mr. MIRANIK. MOHAMED ZINELABIDINE, Director of Culture and Communication at UNESCO, and CAROLINE MORICOT, researcher at the University of Paris 1 PANTHÉON SORBONNE.
