Signing of a framework partnership agreement between OFPPT and Euromed University of Fes

On Friday, February 26, 2021, the Euromed University of Fes (UEMF) and the Office for Vocational Training and Labor Promotion (OFPPT) sealed a framework partnership agreement for the development of vocational training and the sharing of expertise, particularly in the fields of Digital and Artificial Intelligence.

This framework agreement, co-signed at UEMF by Ms. Loubna TRICHA, Director General of the OFPPT, and Prof. Mostapha Bousmina, President of the Euromed University of Fes, will ensure real synergy between UEMF and the future "City of Trades and Skills" of the Fez-Meknes Region; a project that is part of the continuity of the program to create 12 Cities of Trades and Skills by 2023-2024, in accordance with the new roadmap for the development of vocational training, presented before His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, on April 4, 2019.

The two parties mutually agree to develop high value-added partnership projects, particularly through the development of training programs, trainer training, support for entrepreneurship and continuing education, as well as participation in research projects and final-year projects, and the joint development of training projects for the benefit of partner African countries.

UEMF's involvement through this new partnership project confirms its willingness to support training structures within Academic Divisions of excellence that develop training and research programs, fostering innovation. Thanks to its eco-campus designed to the highest international standards, UEMF will enable the "City of Trades and Skills" of the Fez-Meknes Region, which aims to be a center of excellence, to have access to its technological platforms, designed to international standards, particularly those dedicated to digital engineering and artificial intelligence, 3D printing, 4.0 technology, nanotechnologies, renewable energies, biotechnology, and biomedical.
