UI GreenMetric International Ranking 2025

The international UI GreenMetric 2025 ranking was unveiled on Friday, December 5, 2025, and places the Euromed University of Fes (UEMF) as the #1 University in Morocco, ahead of Ibn Tofail University in Kenitra, Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P), and Mohammed V University in Rabat. UEMF was also ranked in the global top 400 among universities from 105 countries worldwide.

The Euromed University of Fes confirms its national and international leadership in sustainable development, innovation, and scientific excellence.

The methodology of this international ranking is based on 51 indicators, including sustainable development goals, innovation, teaching, and research.

This performance confirms the various major distinctions the University has received in recent years. Just in 2025, the Euromed University of Fes was ranked the #1 University in Morocco and 2nd in Africa, after the University of Cape Town in South Africa, by the international Round University Ranking, received the International Alliance University of the Year 2025 Award, and was featured in the international Stanford-USA ranking, which places eight researchers from the Euromed University of Fes in the top 2% of the world's most impactful researchers.

These achievements are the result of an ambitious UEMF strategy that places at the heart of its priorities the quality of teaching and research-innovation, strong interaction with the country's socio-economic world, internationalization, and the well-being of its students and teacher-researchers.

Created by the Sovereign's initiative and placed under His High Honorary Presidency, the Euromed University of Fes now stands as a leading center of knowledge, expertise, and character.
