Professeur assistant en génie
Prof. Touria Moudakkar is a Doctor-Engineer in Process Engineering, certified as a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and Certified Measurement & Verification Professional (CMVP) by the AEE, as well as a Carbon Quantifier (CSA, ISO 14064-1) and ISO 50001 Lead Auditor. She has a strong background in energy systems modeling, process decarbonization, and environmental and economic impact assessment.
With over five years of experience in higher education and the coordination of environmentally impactful projects, she is dedicated to advancing the energy transition and contributing to LCA-based initiatives that support climate and sustainability goals.
Her research and project leadership focus on areas such as waste-to-energy valorization, solar-assisted drying systems, CO₂ capture integration, and renewable-powered desalination, with a particular emphasis on assessing the environmental footprint of energy and industrial systems. She is also proficient in project management, numerical modeling, and engineering tools such as TRNSYS, AspenTech, MATLAB, and SimaPro.
