UEMF receives a delegation from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem

As part of the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the two institutions, the Euromed University of Fez (UEMF) today welcomed a delegation from Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

This delegation is composed of Prof. Tamir SHEAFER, Rector of Hebrew University of Jerusalem, HE Mr. Yossi GAL, Vice-President in charge of development and external relations, Prof. Oron SHAGRIR, Vice-President in charge of International Affairs, Pr. Mona KHOURY, Vice-President in charge of Strategy and Diversity and Ms. Einat LEVI, advisor at Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

During this meeting, Prof. Mostapha Bousmina, President of the Euromed University of Fez began with a presentation of the University and its main missions in terms of teaching and scientific research, promotion of intercultural dialogue and Euro-Mediterranean-Africa exchange and cooperation.

The signing of this agreement aims to establish links of cooperation and partnership between the two Institutions in the field of training and research-innovation by developing joint research programs targeting themes of common interest, in particular technological sciences, health sciences and innovative agriculture. This agreement also concerns the mobility of students and teacher-researchers in order to promote bilateral cooperation in terms of training, knowledge transfer, academic exchange and research.  

At the end of this meeting, members of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem delegation were invited to a guided tour of the university's Eco-campus and its research platforms.
