Signing of contracts to support scientific research projects in artificial intelligence

Conventions & Agreements

As part of encouraging scientific research in artificial intelligence through the National Center for Scientific and Technical Research (CNRS) and the ADD, Prof. Mostapha Bousmina represented the Euromed University of Fez during the signing ceremony of support contracts for the Al Khawarizmi artificial intelligence program under the aegis of:

  • Mr. Said Amzazi , Minister of National Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education and Scientific Research;
  • Mr. Moulay Hafid Elalamy , Minister of Industry, Trade and the Green and Digital Economy.

This ceremony was also attended by university presidents, project leaders and the Digital Development Agency (ADD).

During this meeting, 45 eligible projects were selected according to well-defined criteria and were then evaluated by CNRS experts to be subsidized. As a reminder, the “Al Khawarizmi” program benefits from a budget of 50 million Dhs, allocated 70% by the Department of National Education and 30% by the ADD.
