The Bachelor's degree in political and legal sciences provides general knowledge in the field of social sciences of politics and law which gradually specializes with a view to preparing students for one of the master's degrees in the discipline or other neighboring specialties, through transmission of tools for analysis and deciphering of contemporary political realities in the Euro-Mediterranean.
This degree operates by putting theories and data from political and legal sciences into perspective through Euro-Mediterranean contextualization and comparisons on a global scale.
The objective of the training in Bachelor's degree in political and legal sciences is to enable students:
- To identify and know the political, economic, administrative and social actors at the local, national, Euro-Mediterranean and global scale.
- To understand the principles of analysis of the contemporary world relating to political regimes, legal and social systems and national and international conflicts.
- To master the mechanisms for analyzing the main issues of the contemporary world, such as environmental problems, development and conflicts.
- To know how to mobilize concepts and methods from different disciplines to understand and analyze the different aspects of the contemporary world.
Euromed Institute of Legal and Political Sciences
At the end of the training, the student will have acquired general, specific and pre-professional skills in the field of political and legal sciences:
- General skills: mastery of written and oral expression in French and in several foreign languages (at least two); ability to research information and documentation, spirit of synthesis and ability to problematize; organization and structuring of reasoning and argumentation; ability to debate; acquisition of autonomy in academic work; faculty of self-assessment; propensity to work in a team; understanding of the institutional and legal environment.
- Specific skills in political and legal sciences: faculty of problematization and synthesis on contemporary, Moroccan, Euro-Mediterranean and international issues; mastery of the main contemporary political and social issues; acquisition of the main concepts of political and legal sciences (political sociology, international relations, public policies, political theory, public law, private and international law), from an interdisciplinary perspective (law, sociology, history and economics); appropriation of the main qualitative and quantitative survey techniques in social and political sciences; learning the stopping comment technique.
- Pre-professional skills: knowing how to build your professional project, acquiring a taste for experimentation and innovation and taking responsibility and learning to put your knowledge into practice in a situation outside the university.

The Bachelor's degree in political and legal sciences trains versatile students ready to integrate different master's degrees belonging to political science, law and other social science training (economics, sociology, history, geography, urban planning, etc.).
