The Master in Public Health (MSP) from the Faculty of Medicine of the Euro-Mediterranean University of Fez aims to train competent health professionals in monitoring the state of health of the population, planning, implementing implementation and evaluation of public health programs and analysis of health data.
The MSP aims to provide students with:
- In-depth theoretical and practical training in public health, with emphasis on skills in epidemiological surveillance, research, analysis of public health data, communication and leadership.
- Modern project management and problem-solving tools to work effectively in complex public health environments and solve health problems.
- Tools and methods for responding to health emergencies and current public health challenges, including health disparities, chronic diseases, infectious diseases and environmental threats.
- Methods and procedures for the implementation of health promotion policies and their evaluation.
- A research and writing methodology in public health.
Euromed Faculty of Medicine
The Master of Public Health (MSP) aims to develop a wide range of skills in students to enable them to work effectively in various areas of public health. The skills targeted by the MSP essentially align with those adopted by public health institutions in different countries. They understand :
- Skills in analyzing the social determinants of population health to better inform policy makers.
- Skills in solving public health problems using a systematic, evidence-based approach.
- Leadership and project management skills in public health, using strategic planning, budgeting and risk management techniques.
- Communication skills with policy makers, the media and the general public.
