Professor ZEKRITI MOHSSIN

Assistant Professor of Physics

Dr. Mohssin Zekriti is a professor of physics at the Euro-Mediterranean University of Fes (UEMF) in Morocco.

He earned his doctorate in physical sciences from Mohammed V University in Rabat in 2013, where he conducted part of his research at the Moroccan Foundation for Advanced Science, Innovation and Research (MASCIR).

His research focuses on surface plasmon resonance (SPR/LSPR), biosensors, breast cancer detection, and artificial intelligence. He has extensive experience in modeling and numerical simulation, particularly with Ansys, COMSOL, and FDTD software, for the design and optimization of plasmonic and biomedical devices.

Dr. Zekriti is currently the coordinator of the Alkhawarizmi project, funded by Morocco's CNRST, the Ministry of Higher Education, and the ADD, under contract 449/2020.

Alongside his research activities, he teaches several courses such as Electromagnetism, Optics, and Hearing Prostheses, and has actively participated in educational coordination and the implementation of academic programs within the Polytechnic School of the Euromed University of Fes.

His work establishes a strong link between fundamental physics, applied research, and technological innovation in the field of medical diagnostics.
