According to a report by the High Commission for Planning, published in 2024, the wage gap between men and women reaches 23%. This means that in 2024, Moroccan women symbolically worked "for free" starting from October 8th, and continued to do so until the end of the year. This observation highlights the urgent need for concrete actions to reduce these inequalities and guarantee real pay equity. This represents nearly three months of unpaid work compared to men, an alarming inequality that remains largely ignored in public debate.
