Workshop Design at Volubilis under the supervision of Mr. Andrea Anastasio, International Designer

Within the framework of Moroccan-Italian cooperation, numerous pedagogical and para-pedagogical activities are continuously taking place at the Euromed School of Architecture, Design and Urban Planning (EMADU). Exchanges of experiences and supervision of student work, workshops, and seminars, as well as meetings with specialist architects and designers are on the agenda.

In this regard, a workshop supervised by EMADU in collaboration with the international Designer Andrea Anastasio took place from October 25th to November 4th at the Lalla Yeddouna site. Participating students from the Design program were able to exchange directly with Mr. Anastasio and also took a field trip to the historic site of Volubilis in the presence of His Excellency the Ambassador of Italy, Mr. Armando Barucco.

During this workshop, wonderful projects came to life thanks to the fusion between the local know-how of artisans and the contemporary techniques of the students, under the supervision of Mr. Andrea Anastasio. The results will be the subject of an exhibition scheduled for December 2022, following a competition that will bring together all participants.
