Vision :
The UEMF establishes itself as a Euro-Mediterranean platform for intercultural dialogue, exchange and cooperation between the two shores of the Mediterranean with a natural extension towards Sub-Saharan Africa. It contributes from an academic and cultural angle to the development and strengthening of regional integration in the Europe-Mediterranean-Africa area.
The UEMF aims to be a research university which gives great importance to the three cycles of university training. Its training programs are designed to give graduates strong employability and/or entrepreneurship potential to create startups, spinouts and spinoffs. It also conducts high-level research responding to the needs of society and aims to be one of the important drivers of development in the Fez-Meknes region.
Finally, the UEMF is gradually establishing itself as one of the leaders in digital transformation and also a hotbed of innovation and entrepreneurship.
Missions:
Regional Integration : Contribute to the development and strengthening of regional integration by promoting intercultural dialogue, exchange and academic and cultural partnerships in the Euro-Mediterranean-Africa area.
Human capital : Create a high place of knowledge, creation and innovation that is multidimensional, multicultural and multilingual to first train responsible citizens who are aware of their rights, but also of their duties and imbued with universal and multidimensional values in terms of openness, living together, interpersonal skills, critical thinking and respect for others and the environment.
Targeted research : Conduct high-level research responding to socio-economic challenges and evolving technology and societal needs.
High place for reflection : to be a high place for reflection and proposals concerning the transformation of society, the challenges of regional integration and development models.
Innovation and transfer: Work to establish an environment conducive to innovation, the creation and transfer of knowledge and technologies.
Local involvement : Being one of the drivers of economic, cultural and social development in the Fez-Meknes Region and by extension in Morocco.
Professional integration : Supporting UEMF winners with their professional integration and the creation of their own businesses
Ambitions:
The ambitions of the UEMF are to be by 2035:
1. A hotbed of cultural mixing, exchange and collaboration with more than 30% of its students and more than 40% of its teacher-researchers coming from the Euro-Mediterranean-Africa area.
2. A major and essential think tank on questions concerning the Euro-Mediterranean-Africa area and on digital issues.
3. 1st University in Africa for training on:
- Political and legal studies of the Euro-Mediterranean-Africa region;
- Digital engineering and artificial intelligence;
- Architecture;
- Civil engineering, mechanical engineering, ICT and biomed-tech engineering.
4. 1st University in Morocco in terms of:
- Publications and patents by number of teacher-researchers;
- Research contracts with socio-economic and industrial circles;
- Research on the Euromed-Africa space, on 3D printing, artificial intelligence, materials, batteries and Biomed-tech;
- Creation of startups and spinouts.
5. a large university hospital center with international standards in terms of training and research.
