Confirmation of registration
Be sure to confirm your registration with the chosen UEMF establishment by requesting a definitive registration certificate.
Visa application
If necessary, apply for a visa with the mention “studies” from the Moroccan consular authorities in your country.
Preparation before departure
Inform the UEMF of your arrival : notify the UEMF reception and education service in advance of your expected arrival date.
Medical certificate : obtain a medical certificate attesting to your state of health or an up-to-date vaccination record.
Prepare financial means : plan the financial means necessary to cover expenses relating to administrative fees, transport, subscription to the insurance system, housing, etc.
Original documents : bring originals of all documents requested by the UEMF for registration.
Upon your arrival in Morocco
Finding accommodation : make sure you find accommodation before or as soon as you arrive.
Finalize your registration : complete your registration at the university upon your arrival.
Apply for your residence permit : to obtain a residence permit in Morocco, you will need the following documents:
- A university registration certificate
- A scholarship certificate or proof of income
- Your lease contract or proof of address (water, electricity or rent receipt)
- A 60 DHS stamp
- 8 ID photos
- A copy of your passport with the last date of entry
- The administrative form to complete
Once the application has been submitted, a receipt will be issued to you while you await the residence permit, which is valid for one year.
