Local Bio-Sourced Materials And Process Integration In 3d Concrete Printing
Local Bio-Sourced Materials And Process Integration In 3d Concrete Printing
In last decade, 3D concrete printing (3DCP) becomes among the most attractive building processes in the world thanks to number of advantages brought by this class of Additive Manufacturing (AM) technology. Furthermore, the capacity of formulation of new and innovative buildable materials is now of high consideration within Academia and industry; indeed, it has been proven that the industrial binders such as cements or concrete can be replaced by a series of materials that respect Carbone footprint criterion, recycling possibility, and other valuable criteria. That is to say, the present PhD project is dedicated to the upscaling of UEMF 3DCP success that has been conducted in thge lab-scale; actually reliable 3D printing local materials were developed for small sample sizes, and now should be extended to a reliable building size for civil engineering integration. The study will include not only the engineering side but also the financial and economical perspectives for a global analysis within civil engineering ecosystem.
