On March 29, the President of the University received his Excellency, the Ambassador of Switzerland, Mr. Guillaume SCHEURER, accompanied by Mrs. Christine PIRINOLI, Vice Rector of HES-SO, the largest specialized university in Switzerland, as well as other embassy officials. The Vice-Presidents of the University and the heads of establishments were also invited to this meeting, during which the two establishments were presented.
The UEMF receives a delegation from the French Embassy
A delegation from the French Embassy composed of Professor Gérald BRUN, head of the Higher Education Research and Student Mobility department and Ms. Marie PELATAN, university mission manager, was received on March 29 by the President of the University. After a brief presentation of the University, its components and the structuring teaching, research and development projects planned for the decade, a rich exchange followed, emphasizing in particular the opportunities for collaboration, both at the academic and cultural.
The UEMF receives Ms. Cornelia JESSE from the World Bank.
On March 27, the University received a visit from Ms. Cornelia JESSE from the World Bank, accompanied by two other members. During this meeting, a detailed presentation of the achievements accomplished by the university and its future projects encompassing the second phase and the health sciences center.
“Fake news, fake news and informational disorders: spot them, fight them”: conference by Ms. Najat Vallaud Belkacem
As part of its conference cycle, the Euromed University of Fez welcomed Mrs. Najat Vallaud-Belkacem, former Minister of Women's Rights, then of the City, Youth and Sports and then of National Education, of Higher Education and Research of the French Republic and currently Director General of the international solidarity NGO ONE France, who gave a conference today on the theme “Fake news, fake news and informational disorders: spotting them, fight them.”
The UEMF receives the professional equality prize
The Euromed University of Fez (UEMF) received the Fes-Meknes regional prize during the 7th edition of the Professional Equality Trophy chaired by Mr. Younes Sekkouri, Minister of Economic Inclusion, Small Business, Employment and Skills.
