[Special Guest] Madame Najat Vallaud Belkacem hosts a conference-debate on her work “The Society of the Vulnerable”

Mrs. Najat Vallaud-Belkacem, former Minister of Women's Rights, then of the City, Youth and Sports and then National Education, Higher Education and Research of the French Republic and currently Director General of the international solidarity NGO ONE France, is the special guest of the Euromed University of Fez (UEMF) this Friday, February 11. Throughout this academic year, she will give a series of courses and seminars for the benefit of students of Political and Legal Sciences and also for students of the Euromed Business School of the University.

Welcomed by the President of the UEMF, Prof. Mostapha Bousmina, Mrs. Najat Vallaud-Belkacem visited the different Research-Innovation spaces and technological platforms, in particular the additive manufacturing platform (3D), 4.0 technologies, the Artificial Intelligence and Robotics laboratories, the Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) platform, the biotechnology-biomedical and Pharmacy laboratories as well as the space dedicated to the incubation of Startups.

Ms. Najat Valaud Belkacem then gave a conference in relation to her recent work “The Society of the Vulnerables – Feminist Lessons from a Crisis” published in the Tracts de Gallimard collection and co-produced with academic Sandra Laugier. This conference was attended by several personalities and in particular Mr. Wali and Mr. President of the Fez-Meknes Region, Mr. President of the Council of the City of Fez, the Governor of the province of Moulay Yacoub, the Governor of the province of Taounate , the presidents of universities in the region, Madam Consul General of the French Republic in Fez as well as students and teacher-researchers of the UEMF.
