The Master in Biobank Management is a unique program that provides its students with expertise in implementing and managing a biobank, and the complex data generated by biological samples (human, animal, plant) stored in biobanks, within public hospitals or private laboratories.

This Master's program is aimed at practical aspects in the field of biobanking. Its main mission is to orient the expected experts towards the gathering of tools, concepts/approaches and skills to achieve specific objectives.

This program focuses on the technical, management and data management of complex biological samples in public hospital or private laboratory biobanks. It provides its student with the knowledge to coordinate the technical and scientific aspects of a biobank, manage the data associated with the samples and develop a Quality Management System.

More specifically, this program aims to:

• bring students to the forefront of biobanking knowledge;
• familiarize students with the organization, management and operationalization of biobanks at the national level;
• develop a strong technical and management skills focused on biobanking;
• understand sample management and the ethical and legal aspects of biobanks; scientific contributions in the area of sample science.

• management of complex data associated to biological samples (including biostatistics, epidemiology, mathematical modelling and machine learning);
• developing a system of Quality Management;
• technology transfer and proposing technological innovations; 
• managing a team, a budget, projects, an organization, communicating, and linking the biobank to international networks of experts;
• apply regulations, ethics relating to biobanks.

• Bac + 3 level diploma in Life Sciences (or equivalent) with a score not less than 12.00.
• Scores above 12/20 in the main prerequisite courses.
• Good english language.

The selection process is done in two stages :

• File study.
• Motivational interview with a jury.

• Ph. D programs ;
• R&D researchers ; 
• Operational manager ; 
• Scientific manager of biobank ; 
• Coordinator of biobank or of a network of biobanks;  
• Apply knowledge in ITS for big data management ;  
• Project manager in a biobank ; 
• Quality Manager of a biobank or a network of biobanks ; 
• Biobank hospital engineer.
