Civilization, culture and religion in perceptions between East and West

Description of the subject
Subject :

Civilization, culture and religion in perceptions between East and West

Brief description

These three concepts constitute keys to understanding the transformations that the world is currently experiencing, particularly with regard to the centuries-old relationship between East and West. However, it appears more and more that they are used in a non-rigorous and poorly controlled manner. It is therefore important to include them in appropriate scientific approaches: those consisting of deeply questioning the complexity of the geopolitical realities opposing certain regional poles and the possibilities of their control, of examining the phenomena of instrumentalization of religion and culture in strategies of domination, to uncover the mechanisms that govern the intersection of perspectives between East and West. These are all avenues likely to be invested in the context of research themes allowing the production of innovative theses.

The candidates targeted by this axis are those who have completed with excellence a Master's course in political sciences, consolidated by sustained training: relating to the constitution and evolution of the two East/West poles, as well as to the nature of the foundations which are the basis of their current mutation.
