CGI training site

Agreements and partnerships

CGI Technologies and Solutions MAROC, the Euromed University of Fez (UEMF), the Fez-Meknes region and the National Agency for the Promotion of Employment and Skills DR Centre-Nord, will inaugurate on Tuesday February 18, 2020 at the headquarters of University, the official launch of the “CGI training site” project, as part of the concept of the U'DEV School, set up by CGI.

This project, financed jointly by ANAPEC and the Fès-Meknes region, follows specific agreements signed between the University and CGI, on the one hand, and between the University and the region, on the other hand, and under which, the UEMF provides all “Professional License” level training in the field of “IT Professions”. The University is fully managing the process of this project; from the orientation test and the deployment of training, to the final evaluation and the awarding of diplomas.

Through this project and through the employability and retraining of around twenty young bac+2 graduates experiencing integration difficulties, CGI MAROC, the Fès-Meknes region, ANPEC and UEMF demonstrate through this initiative the linkage between economic goals and social responsibility.

Alongside this agreement, the two parties mutually agree to expand the scope of cooperation to:

• The possibility for the CGI to use the laboratories, platforms and training rooms of the Euromed University of Fez, for research and R&D projects and for training cycles, defined by mutual agreement;

• Their joint involvement in the definition of laboratory equipment resources and training plans or their updating;

• The possibility for the CGI to host internships or recruit, as a priority, students and graduates of the University;

• The possibility for the CGI to host thematic seminars or provide specific training for the benefit of University students or professors.

This action demonstrates the desire of the UEMF to support Moroccan companies and those in the Fès-Meknes region in particular, in their project to develop and improve the level of skills of their resources, by offering training adapted to their needs, targeted and oriented towards their professions. It thus consolidates the action started last year by the UEMF in partnership with the company ALTEN, successfully carried out from start to finish and renewed this year, for a new group of beneficiaries.
