Signature of a partnership agreement between UEMF and Webhelp Maroc

After a first week full of conferences, student activities, and major events, the Euromed University of Fez (UEMF) is today sealing a partnership with Webhelp, which employs more than 10,500 employees in Morocco with 4,500 in Fez, making Webhelp the first private employer in the Fez-Meknes region.

The agreement, initialed by the President of the UEMF, Prof. Mostapha Bousmina and the General Director of Webhelp Maroc, Mr. Redouane Mabchour, covers several aspects related to the training and the increase in skills of Webhelp staff who tackle now in engineering, IoT (Internet of Things), ITO (Information Technology Outsourcing), BPO (Business Process Outsourcing), Big data and digital professions, which is one flagship specialties of the Euromed University of Fez which has the only engineering school in the Euro-African space completely dedicated to Digital Engineering and Artificial Intelligence.

This agreement is part of the continuity of the strong relations that the UEMF is undertaking with the socio-economic and industrial world and the continued implementation of its triptych “training, research-innovation and openness to the professions of the future”.

Under this agreement, the two parties undertake to pool their efforts in order to implement a series of measures capable of boosting the professional integration of young UEMF graduates and supporting Webhelp in improving skills of its staff and also the organization of events for the benefit of young people, like the Hackathon co-organized by the two partners from September 21 to 23 for the benefit of around a hundred young people from the UEMF. They are called upon to compete in ingenuity to respond to a concrete problem in the presence of experts from Webhelp and the CRI and supervised by professors from the Euromed Business School, the School of Digital Engineering and Artificial Intelligence and the Directorate of Entrepreneurship and Socio-economic Cooperation of the UEMF.
