Prof. Mostapha Bousmina, President of the Euromed University of Fez (UEMF) received today, His Excellency Mr. El Mokhtar GHAMBOU, Former Ambassador of Morocco to Kenya accompanied by Dr. Toyin Ajao (Nigeria), thinker, feminist activist and holistic researcher, Ms. Munira Hussein (Ethiopia), writer and author and Mr. Tony Mochama (Kenya), lawyer, writer and cultural journalist. 

This visit is part of the strategy that the UEMF is deploying to strengthen and develop collaborative relationships with the institutions of sub-Saharan African countries, particularly English-speaking countries. 

During this meeting which began with a presentation by the President of the UEMF, Prof. Mostapha Bousmina, concerning the University's missions in terms of promoting intercultural dialogue, exchange and cooperation between the two shores of the Mediterranean with a natural extension towards Sub-Saharan Africa in perfect resonance with the irreversible trajectory taken by our country under the enlightened and humanist leadership of His Majesty King Mohamed VI, may God help him.  

Mr. President of the UEMF also highlighted the role of the University in the region for the promotion of scientific research and innovation through the various scholarships awarded to students from sub-Saharan Africa in recalling that UEMF is a growing center of excellence in teaching and research with more than 2,500 students from over 40 different nationalities.

Also, Pr. Bousmina highlighted the diversity of the University's teaching and research programs as well as the values ​​transmitted to students in terms of tolerance, living together, respect for human rights, freedoms and democratic values.
