Pr. Salim Bounou and Pr. Maha Gmira participate in the first National Day on AI in oncology

Seminar cycle

The Cancer Research Institute (IRC), in collaboration with the Euromed University of Fez (UEMF), the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Métiers (ENSAM) of Rabat, the Translational Oncology Research Team (EROT ) and the Moroccan Association for Training and Research in Medical Oncology are organizing (AMFROM), on Saturday March 27, 2021, at ENSAM-Rabat, the “First National Day on Artificial Intelligence in Oncology” in hybrid format.

Thanks to artificial intelligence, which occupies more and more space in the health landscape and in particular in the field of oncology, and which is at the heart of the medicine of the future, we are witnessing major advances in the patient care, improved diagnoses and personalization of treatments. All of this progress opens up new fields of multidisciplinary research.

The organization of this day fits perfectly into this perspective and essentially aims to bring together clinicians and engineers in order to bring about the medicine of tomorrow.

Through this event, a core of multidisciplinary researchers around this theme will be created and it will be an opportunity to conduct reflections and exchanges around this theme.

Partnership agreements will also be signed between clinicians and engineering schools to strengthen this multidisciplinarity, the only beneficiary of which will be the Moroccan patient.
