Signature of a framework partnership agreement between the OFPPT and the UEMF

Conventions & Agreements

The Euromed University of Fez (UEMF) and the Office of Vocational Training and Labor Promotion (OFPPT) seal, this Friday, February 26, 2021, a framework partnership agreement, for the development of vocational training and sharing expertise, particularly in the fields of Digital and Artificial Intelligence. 

This framework agreement co-signed at the UEMF by Ms. Loubna TRICHA, Director General of the OFPPT and Prof. Mostapha Bousmina, President of the Euromed University of Fez, will ensure real synergy between the UEMF and the future “City of Trades and Skills” of the Fez-Meknes Region; a project which is part of the continuity of the program to create 12 Cities of Trades and Skills by 2023-2024, in accordance with the new roadmap for the development of professional training, presented before His Majesty the King Mohammed VI, may God help him, April 4, 2019.  

The two parties mutually agree to develop partnership projects with high added value, in particular through the development of training programs, training of trainers, support for entrepreneurship and continuing training, as well as participation in research projects and end-of-training projects and the joint development of training projects for the benefit of African partner countries. 


The involvement of the UEMF via this new partnership project confirms its desire to support training structures in centers of excellence which develop training and research programs, promoting innovation. Thanks to its eco-campus designed to the best international standards, the UEMF will allow the “City of Trades and Skills” of the Fez-Meknes Region, which aims to be a center of excellence, to have access to its technological platforms , designed to international standards, in particular those dedicated to digital engineering and artificial intelligence, 3D printing, 4.0 technology, nanotechnologies, renewable energies, biotechnology and biomedical.
