Educational visit to Al Wahda Dam, currently the largest hydraulic infrastructure in the Kingdom

The students of the first year of the engineering cycle in civil engineering of Euromed Polytechnic School, accompanied by their teacher Mr. Issam Al Korachi, made, on May 6, 2023, an educational visit to the Al Wahda dam, currently the largest hydraulic infrastructure in the Kingdom.
The students were given detailed explanations by Mr. Kassemi, engineer at the Sebou River Basin Agency, and Mr. Tantaoui, head of the dam, especially regarding the type and structure of the development, the nature of the hydroelectric station, as well as the operating principle of the dam's ancillary works, such as spillways and gates.
