Exhibition "Mathematicalwalkthrough Al-Andalus

As part of the daysdedicated to the architecture and heritage of Andalusia, organizedbetween 17 and 20 May 2023, by the Cervantes Institute in Fez and the cultural service of the Embassy of Spain in Rabat, the exhibition "MathematicalWalkthrough Al-Andalus" wasscheduled on May 18.
It highlighted the Alhambra of Granada, the mosque and synagogue of Cordoba and the Real Alcázar, the Torre delOro, the Giralda and the doors of the cathedral of Seville. An original and differentwaytopresent to the public the Andalusianheritage, integratingwithtechnologicaltools (ExploriaCiencia, 3D Models, Digital Fabrication and GeoGebra), science, art and history.
On the sidelines of the opening of this exhibition, itscurator Professor ÁlvaroMartínez Sevilla, gave Friday, May 19, at the EuromedUniversity of Fez, a beautifulconference on the theme "Mathematics of Andalusian monuments and theirhistorical and artisticsignificance" and afterwhichwasheld a round table, with the participation of prominentMoroccan and Spanishspecialists. Previously, on May 17, the film "The Builders of the Alhambra" wasscreenedwith the presence of itsdirector Isabel Fernández wholed a debatewithstudents and professors of the University" followingthis projection
