The Euromed University of Fez receives Dr. Cheick Modibo Diarra, former Prime Minister of Mali

Welcomed by the President of the University, Pr. Mostapha Bousmina, and by the students of the UEMF, Dr. Cheick Modibo Diarra, former Prime Minister of Mali, gave a lecture on "The Mali Empire and its constitution since 1236". 
Dr. Modibo Diarra presented a historical overview of the birth of the Empire of Mali, including the kingdoms that ruled the North-West African region, such as the Kingdom of Ghana, the Kingdom of Sosso and the Empire of Songhoy. 
This event was also an opportunity for the students and teacher-researchers of the university to exchange with the lecturer on the importance of valuing and promoting our African history and culture as well as the issues related to the development of the continent based on local wealth and human resources within the framework of South-South collaborations and partnerships.
