As part of the EUROMED-ICESCO Chair in "Arts, Societies and Civilisations", the Euromed University of Fez, in partnership with the Islamic World Organisation for Education, Science and Culture (ICESCO), organised a lecture entitled "THINKING THE SUBJECT AND THE WORLD IN TIMES OF CONFLICTUALITY" on 31 May 2023.
A number of eminent figures took part in the event, which provided an opportunity to put forward various ideas.
Prof. Mostapha BOUSMINA, President of the Euromed University of Fez, underlined in his speech entitled "The enigma of time: from time to time", the importance of the theories and experiments conducted by the great thinkers and scientists in understanding the relationship between being and time.
The conference was attended by a number of thinkers and scientists, including Mr Abderrahman TENKOUL, Dean of the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences at UEMF, Mr Jalil BENNANI, psychoanalyst and writer, and Mr Driss KHROUZ, Director General of the Esprit de Fès Foundation.
The event also gave the audience, made up of students, teacher-researchers and thinkers in the arts and human and social sciences, the opportunity to appreciate the quality of the presentations and to take part in the enriching philosophical and scientific debate that followed the conference.
