Research-innovation in the service of society is one of the major pillars of the university. The vast majority of UEMF professors are teacher-researchers and their career development is largely based on their scientific production.
UEMF has a very high-level research infrastructure and certain facilities are unique in Morocco such as the additive manufacturing platform (printing 30), the digital platform, etc.
UEMF is currently the Moroccan University which has the most important research contracts with the socio-economic world including the sectors of aeronautics, automobile, renewable energies, agro-industry, digital, biomedical , territorial planning, cultural heritage and the issues of the Euro-Mediterranean-Africa area.
Research activities are carried out within the UEMF Research Center. The internal organization of this center includes two units, one in engineering and the other in Human and Social Sciences and research teams accredited by the University, each bringing together more than two teacher-researchers. The Center has technological platforms equipped with very high-level scientific and technological equipment accessible to the entire scientific community of the Center. The Center has a director, a steering committee, and a scientific council.
Research activities are carried out on priority themes meeting the needs of the UEMF's research and innovation strategy. Research staff, which includes doctoral students, post-doctoral students, professor-researchers, engineers and technicians, must comply with the work plan approved by the University's governing bodies in terms of the priority areas of the UEMF and in strict compliance with the UEMF ethics charter...
