Ecole Euromed d’Architecture de Design et d’Urbanisme (EMADU)

Beyond the fact that it is intended to be a continuation of the License Designs begun, this Master of Design Studies program has the main objective of developing reflection and expertise around design methods and processes in the field of design linked to the concerns, considerations and eco‐responsible commitments of Morocco in particular and of the countries of the Euro‐Mediterranean Region in general. It aims to confront future designers with current problems and debates within the discipline and contemporary societies and to participate in marketing profiles able to contribute to the development and dissemination of knowledge, know-how and technological research and innovation while having as a structural directive the component of eco-responsibility and citizenship. This training will involve integrating issues related to participatory design, artificial intelligence, innovation in manufacturing techniques and economic mechanisms for prospecting, production (social and solidarity economy), promotion and marketing. The desire to integrate all these components within it stems from a desire to bring out a global vision of the practice of contemporary design.

Specializations

Care Design

Focuses on people, communities and ecosystems. Care design means solutions to live harmoniously together and create a common ground. The project of care and concern for others imagines, designs, conceptualizes, develops, formalizes and evaluates to ensure the development of innovative products and services in areas such as: Health, Ecology, Public Policy.

Game Design

Design of games and mobile applications and multimedia structures. UX design, character design, motion design, 2D and 3D animation, multimedia and video post-production. Design for 3D engines, Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality.

Design Graphique

Focus on visual communication, typography, visual advertising, designing books, prints, posters, banners and websites. Branding and complete visual identification of companies and products. Visualizations and project presentations.

Artisign

Design of innovative products based on respect for heritage and culture, and cooperation with artisans. Using traditional techniques, we think about new solutions, innovative use of traditional crafts, as well as ecology, close connection with the place for which the inhabitants of the product are dedicated.

Selection procedures :

Access to the EMADU Master Design program is via competition in three phases

Documents Review : The pre-selection on file will be done by a jury following the study of the documents submitted. The file must consist of at least :

- A Bachelor's degree in the aforementioned disciplinary fields
- Transcripts of the last 3 years of training
- A handwritten cover letter (Explain the selection criteria: mentions, number of years of study, grades for the main subjects, etc.)

- Written test: Test on table

- general knowledge test: 30 min

- geometry and spatial perception test: 30 min

- graphic and plastic expression test: 120 min
