Notice of defense of doctoral thesis on Organic Chemistry
Doctoral defense in Organic Chemistry by Mr. Khalid BOUJDI, under the theme: Functionalization of indazole by Suzuki-Miyaura reactions, direct arylation and oxidative arylation. Prepared in partnership between the Department of Chemistry of the Faculty of Sciences and Techniques Mohammedia, Hassan II University Casablanca and the Euromed Research Center, Euromed University of Fez (UEMF), this thesis is carried out under the direction of Professor Saïd El Kazzouli, Professor at the UEMF.
The UEMF rewarded for its gender equality strategy during the 6th edition of the Professional Equality Trophies award ceremony
On Thursday, May 12, 2022 in Rabat, Euromed University of Fez, the only award-winning university, won the certificate of excellence for its Gender Equality Strategy. The UEMF received the best score in each of the ten themes proposed in the Trophy application file.

“Fez Smart Factory” is organizing in partnership with UNIDO, on May 10, 2022 at the Campus of the Euromed University of Fez (UEMF), a meeting under the theme “What role does Fez Smart Factory (FSF) play in the development of "industry 4.0 in Morocco", dedicated to the promotion of the FSF project among manufacturers, as well as the presentation of the results of the survey carried out by the project among manufacturers to identify their needs in terms of improving the performance of their industrial units through Industry 4.0.

Doctoral defense in Physics and Applications by Mr. Tabia Zakaria, under the theme: Mesoporous bioactive glasses, synthesis, characterization, biological activities and manufacturing of frameworks for bone regeneration in partnership between the Department of Geology of the Faculty of Sciences Kénitra, University Ibn Tofail and the Euromed Research Center, Euromed University of Fez.
UEMF finalist for “The Green Gown Award” for its exemplary sustainable development initiatives
The Green Gown Award or commonly known as "The Green Gown Award" is an award that recognizes outstanding sustainability initiatives undertaken by universities and colleges around the world. It is organized in partnership with the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) and supported by the AUF, the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU) and the International Association of Universities (IAU). This year, 56 finalists were selected and they represent 19 countries around the world. Among them, we find five establishments that are members of the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie.
THE International Ranking of the best universities in the world: UEMF presents with eight other Moroccan universities
The 2022 ranking of universities worldwide by Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings has just been revealed. The THE ranking is based on a multidimensional analysis of higher education institutions through the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals measured by Thomson Reuters and Elsevier. It should be noted that recently created universities such as the Euromed University of Fez or the International University of Rabat are better ranked than other large national universities.
